Present Simple Tense

การใช้ Present Simple Tense มีวิธีใช้ดังนี้ คือ

1. เมื่อเหตุการณ์ที่กล่าวถึงเป็นความจริง เช่น

The earth moves round the sun.

Tigers are dangerous animals.

John is the youngest son.

2. ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่กระทำอยู่เป็นประจำ เป็นนิสัย ในกรณีนี้มักจะมีคำแสดงเวลาร่วมอยู่ด้วย คือ always, sometimes, generally, often, every day, every week, every month, etc. เช่น

My son sometimes plays tennis with his father.

He always gets up at eight o’clock.

The bus comes every ten minutes.

ในประโยคปฏิเสธ (Negative Form)มีหลักการเปลี่ยนดังนี้ คือ

1. ประโยค Present Simple Tense ที่มี Verb to be หรือ กริยาช่วยตัวอื่น (can, may, must, will, shall) สามารถเติม not หลังคำกริยาช่วยเหล่านั้นได้ทันที  อ่านเพิ่มเติม
